With more than 15 years of experience as a career coach, I'm passionate about helping physicians and future physicians define, create, and achieve fulfilling careers in medicine and beyond. I provide supportive, strategic coaching for people at every stage of the medical journey—including pre-medical students, medical students, residents, fellows, clinicians, and physician-scientists.
My coaching is informed by my training as a licensed counselor, along with my experience directing the career coaching program at Stanford School of Medicine and working in the pharmaceutical industry with residents, fellows, attendings, and community clinicians. These experiences give me a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape—from academic and community hospital systems to group medical practices to the biopharmaceutical industry. I also draw on my background as a marketing communications editor to help clients craft compelling, effective application and professional materials.
Most recently, I served as Assistant Director of Career Success at Stanford School of Medicine for nearly a decade, where I provided more than 3,800 coaching appointments. My work contributed to first-choice residency and fellowship matches, a 98% medical school admission rate, and successful transitions into clinical, faculty, and industry leadership roles.
